Actuarial Analyst (Life Insurance)

What role you will play in team: You'll be part of a team responsible for analyzing data to support critical business decisions regarding pricing, risk assessment and product development for Life Insurance offerings.

What you will do: You will use actuarial modeling techniques to assess risk and project financial outcomes, providing valuable insights to the business.

Key responsibility:

• Developing and maintaining actuarial models for pricing and reserving life insurance products.
• Analyzing mortality, morbidity, and lapse data to assess risk and profitability.
• Preparing reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations for management.
• Collaborating with other actuarial staff and business units to provide actuarial support.
• Staying current with industry best practices and regulatory changes.
• Contributing to the development of new life insurance products.
• Performing financial modeling and forecasting.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science or a related field.
• Progress towards professional actuarial exams (e.g., SOA exams).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in actuarial software (e.g., Prophet, GGY-Axis).
• Experience with life insurance product development.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
