Software Engineer In Test

We are seeking a highly skilled SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and WireMock to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, API testing, and microservices validation, along with experience in building robust test frameworks for distributed systems.

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks for microservices-based applications.
• Write and execute automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, TestNG/JUnit, and RestAssured.
• Develop and implement contract testing using WireMock for mocking and validating microservices interactions.
• Perform API testing and validation using Postman, RestAssured, and WireMock.
• Work closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure quality across the SDLC.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Debug and troubleshoot microservices-based applications using logs and monitoring tools.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and security aspects of microservices are covered in testing.
• Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.

5+ years of experience in software testing, automation, and quality engineering.

• Strong proficiency in Java (Core Java, OOPs, Collections, Streams, Lambda).
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with WireMock for API mocking and contract testing.
• Knowledge of API testing (Postman, RestAssured, Karate, or similar).
• Familiarity with JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, and other testing frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Strong understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries for backend data validation.
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and version control best practices.
