Software Engineer In Test

We are seeking a highly skilled SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and WireMock to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, API testing, and microservices validation, along with experience in building robust test frameworks for distributed systems.

Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks for microservices-based applications.

Write and execute automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, TestNG/JUnit, and RestAssured.

Develop and implement contract testing using WireMock

Perform API testing and validation using Postman, RestAssured, and WireMock.

Work closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure quality across the SDLC.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).

Debug and troubleshoot microservices-based applications using logs and monitoring tools.

Ensure performance, scalability, and security aspects of microservices are covered in testing.

Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.

5+ years of experience in software testing, automation, and quality engineering.

Strong proficiency in Java (Core Java, OOPs, Collections, Streams, Lambda).

Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.

Experience with WireMock for API mocking and contract testing.

Knowledge of API testing (Postman, RestAssured, Karate, or similar).

Familiarity with JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, and other testing frameworks.

Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).

Strong understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.

Proficiency in writing SQL queries for backend data validation.

Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and version control best practices.
