Accountant (F&B)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our cafe team. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of three years of accounting experience, preferably within the food and beverage industry. As an Accountant at our cafe, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations.

Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.

- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and records.

- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support informed decision-making.

- Monitor inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS) to optimize profitability.

- Conduct regular financial audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.

- Collaborate with management to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.

- Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to aid in strategic planning.

- Assist with tax preparation and compliance as required.

- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and uphold ethical standards.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

- Minimum of three years of relevant accounting experience.

- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
