Key Responsibilities:

• Assists Project Managers in the execution of FEED / Detail design, Feasibility, concept design of Thermal Power Projects.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review and approve electrical designs, drawings, and specifications in compliance with IEC, IEEE, and local regulatory standards.
• Prepare and review detailed electrical design documents including:
• Single-line diagrams, schematics, cable schedules, and equipment layouts.
• Load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination studies.
• Provide technical support during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Attends internal and external project meetings and assists in the preparation of Minutes of Meetings.
• Prepare and present progress reports, technical documentation, and project updates.
• Ensure interfaces/requirements between all disciplines are incorporated where required, to achieve objectives.
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC procedures, performance standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and clients to align design with project goals.
• Evaluate, organize and prioritize workload within a schedule
• Able to demonstrate sufficient technical knowledge and awareness of details to be able to recognize identification of technical problems and to initiate appropriate corrective actions.
• Support in the preparation of proposals (tendering).
