We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to manage and oversee trust accounting functions within our educational institutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in trust accounting, preferably within a school or college setting, and will be responsible for maintaining financial integrity, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic financial guidance to the Directors. Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management: Oversee all financial operations related to trust accounting, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
• Accounting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, ensuring financial statements are prepared in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Audit: Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, addressing any issues and implementing recommendations.
• Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports to the Directors, providing insights and recommendations.
• Advisory: Offer strategic financial advice to support decision-making processes.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

• Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.

• 5-10 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on trust accounting.
• Prior experience in a school or college setting or educational Trust is desirable

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

• Experience with financial management in educational institutions.
• Familiarity with trust accounting standards and practices.
• Experience in preparing and managing budgets in a school or college environment.

• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Integrity: High ethical standards and integrity in handling financial information.
• Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capability to mentor and guide junior staff.
