Credit Manager - Personal Loans

Role Overview

We are looking for analytical and driven Credit Managers to join our risk assessment team. This role is specifically focused on the Self-Employed (SEP/SENP) category, requiring a deep understanding of business dynamics, cash flow analysis, and surrogate-based underwriting. You will be responsible for maintaining a high-quality portfolio while ensuring a seamless turnaround time (TAT) for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Credit Underwriting: Appraise loan applications for self-employed individuals by analyzing business health and financial documents.

• Financial Analysis: Evaluate Balance Sheets, P&L statements, GST returns, and bank statements to determine actual debt-servicing capacity.
• Risk Mitigation: Conduct personal discussions (PDs) and physical verifications to validate the on-ground business reality versus paper documentation.
• Compliance: Ensure all cases adhere to the companys credit policy and regulatory guidelines (RBI).
• Portfolio Management: Monitor the health of the logged-in and disbursed portfolio to minimize delinquency and early mortality.

Candidate Profile

• Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputed institute.
• Experience: 1 to 5 years of experience as Credit manager in Unsecured Business loan/ Self employed Personal loans.

Skillset:

• Strong understanding of Banking Surrogates and Cash-flow based lending.
• Ability to interpret complex financial data and identify red flags in business models.
• Excellent communication skills for conducting Personal Discussions with promoters.
