: Management Consultant / Strategy Consultant Marketing & Sales (Building Materials)

Role Overview :

We are seeking a high-caliber Management Consultant with 4 to 8 years of experience to lead and execute strategic Marketing & Sales initiatives for a premier client in the building materials industry. This is a full-time, 12-month contractual deployment (with strong potential for extension) requiring immediate availability.

The ideal candidate will possess an elite management consulting background or internal strategy experience at top-tier building materials firms, driving Go-to-Market (GtM) transformation, influencer programs, and digital sales optimization.

Key Responsibilities :

• Go-to-Market (GtM) Strategy : Design, refine, and deploy optimal GtM strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
• Channel Implementation : Drive execution of GtM initiatives across diverse sales channels (dealers, distributors, direct-to-site, B2B).
• Influencer Engagement : Develop and scale robust engagement programs targeting key industry influencers (contractors, architects, painters, electricians, and builders).
• Digital & Tech Transformation : Build, deploy, and drive adoption of digital tools and AI/ML models tailored for Sales & Marketing optimization (e.g., predictive sales analytics, dynamic pricing, route-to-market tech).
• Stakeholder Management : Work closely with the clients senior leadership and field teams to ensure seamless project execution and change management.

Candidate Profile :

Experience & Background :

• 4 - 8 years of post-MBA experience in Marketing & Sales strategy or corporate transformation.
• Industry Experience : Direct experience working within or consulting for leading building materials companies (e.g., Polycab, Asian Paints, UltraTech Cement, Pidilite, Berger, etc.).
• Proven track record of blending traditional sales methodologies with cutting-edge digital/AI tools.

Education :

• MBA or equivalent post-graduate degree from a top-tier management institute (Tier-1 business school preferred).

• Immediate Joiner : Candidates with no notice period obligation or those who can join within 7 - 10 days will be strongly preferred.
