We are seeking a highly experienced JD Edwards Finance & HR & Payroll Functional Consultant with strong expertise in JDE Financials and working knowledge of JDE Human Resources and Payroll processes. The consultant will support Finance operations while also managing HR/Payroll-related integrations, data feeds, reporting, and historical payroll information requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Responsibilities

• Possess strong functional knowledge in Finance & Accounting processes.
• Work extensively on JDE Finance Modules, including:
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• General Ledger (GL)
• Fixed Assets (FA)
• Demonstrate product capabilities and conduct Proof of Concept (POC) sessions for clients.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, onsite teams, and offshore teams.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional solutions, ensuring timely delivery and closure.
• Configure and validate system setups aligned with business needs.
• Prepare detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Specification Documents (FSD).
• Design and develop test cases and test scenarios based on functional requirements.
• Execute end-to-end testing of business processes across modules.
• Support system integration, validation, and configuration activities.
• Monitor and ensure smooth production deployments.
• Work closely with business users for production validation, post-deployment support, and issue resolution.
• Conduct end-user training and provide functional guidance.

• Possess functional knowledge of JD Edwards Human Resources and Payroll processes.
• Support and maintain HR and Payroll-related integrations between external HR/HCM systems and JD Edwards.
• Analyze inbound employee, payroll, and user-feed interfaces and troubleshoot integration issues.
• Support payroll history reporting and data extraction requests for audit, compliance, legal, and business requirements.
• Understand employee master data, organizational structure, position management, benefits, and payroll data within JDE.
• Validate payroll-related financial postings and ensure accurate integration with General Ledger.
• Coordinate with HR, Payroll, Finance, and technical teams to resolve cross-functional issues.
• Perform impact analysis, testing, and validation for HR/Payroll enhancements and interface changes.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end payroll-related activities impacting financial reporting.
• Assist in documenting HR/Payroll business processes, system configurations, and integration flows.

• Experience supporting integration between JD Edwards and external HR/HCM systems.
• Knowledge of payroll-to-GL reconciliation processes.
• Experience supporting audit, compliance, and legal reporting requirements involving payroll data.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to independently drive tasks from requirement gathering to closure.
• Experience in implementation, testing, and production support environments.
• Strong understanding of cross-functional integration points between Finance, HR, and Payroll systems.
• Ability to work with business users and technical teams to deliver integrated business solutions.
