Job Summary:

Infojini is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounts & Payroll Executive with 7+ years of experience in Indian accounting, payroll processing, statutory compliance, and taxation. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of payroll management, salary processing, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and accounting practices, along with hands-on experience using Tally or similar accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including salary calculation, reimbursements, deductions, and statutory compliances.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of employee salaries and payroll reports.
• Maintain up-to-date books of accounts in Tally or other accounting software.
• Create and maintain vendor master records and process vendor payments.
• Record and review accounting entries, journal vouchers, and ledger postings.
• Process invoices, employee reimbursements, petty cash transactions, and payment documentation.
• Perform bank reconciliations, ledger reconciliations, and payment reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain financial records in compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare documentation and support for statutory audits, internal audits, and financial reviews.
• Prepare documents required for GST refunds, GST appeals, and other statutory submissions.
• Ensure timely filing and compliance related to GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable statutory regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and government authorities whenever required.
• Prepare MIS reports and assist management with financial analysis and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory accounting requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Inter CA/ ICWA preferred
• 7+ years of relevant experience in Indian accounting, payroll, and statutory compliance.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIF, IF, INDEX-MATCH, and other formulas.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience handling payroll for medium to large organizations.
• Familiarity with labor law compliances such as PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, and other statutory deductions.
• Experience preparing MIS reports and financial analysis.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
