Senior Android Kotlin Engineer

:

• 8 years experience with experience developing enterprise scale Android applications Kotlin Jetpack Compose and Java producing clean maintainable and reusable code patterns Deep knowledge of Git GitLab and CI CD build pipelines including branching merging and pipeline optimization
• Experience within banking or financial services
• Hands on experience working in Agile development environments
• Experience maintaining build servers and performing minor scripting
• Proven ability to write comprehensive unit and integration tests

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain enterprise grade Android applications
• Build modern responsive user interfaces using Jetpack Compose
• Collaborate with product owners architects QA teams and backend developers
• Implement secure and scalable mobile solutions for banking and financial services applications
• Optimize application performance stability and user experience
• Develop and maintain CI CD pipelines and support build automation activities
• Conduct code reviews mentor team members and drive engineering best practices

Technical Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java
• Extensive experience with Jetpack Compose for modern Android UI development
• Strong understanding of Android SDK Android Architecture Components and mobile application lifecycle
• Ability to produce clean maintainable reusable and scalable code following best practices and design patterns
• Experience implementing MVVM Repository Pattern Dependency Injection Dagger Hilt and modular application architectures
