Reporting Controller

FGS- Reporting ControllerAED 25,000 - 32,000 + medical + air ticketOur client, a management consultancy, is looking to recruit a technically strong Reporting Controller to join their fast paced team.This role will be responsible for delivering high quality financial reporting in line with IFRS standards, overseeing month end close, and ensuring full compliance with UAE and KSA tax and Zakat regulations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation from an audit background, complemented by hands on industry experience within a professional services or consultancy environment.The Reporting Controller will also play a key role in enhancing financial controls, supporting audits, and leveraging the NetSuite ERP system to drive accurate and efficient reporting.Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Ensure accurate application of accounting standards across revenue, accruals, provisions, and balance sheet items
• Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Maintain robust balance sheet reconciliations with supporting schedules

• Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, leading the annual audit process

• Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

• Oversee preparation and submission of UAE/ KSA tax and Zakat filings, ensuring compliance with local regulations and deadlines
• Coordinate with external tax advisors where necessary
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of KSA tax legislation and regulatory changes

• Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and automation

• Work closely with senior management to provide clear financial insights and analysis
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Provide technical accounting guidance to finance team members and wider business stakeholders

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
• Strong technical accounting expertise with proven experience applying IFRS standards

Get Hired
• Background in external audit (Big 4 or reputable firm preferred), with subsequent industry experience
• Experience within professional services, consultancy, or similar environments
• Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with KSA tax and Zakat compliance
• Practical experience using NetSuite ERP (essential or highly preferred)
• Strong communication skills with ability to engage confidently with auditors, advisors, and senior stakeholders
• Arabic speaker
