IntraEdge - Senior Business Analyst - Identity & Access Management

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst - Identity & Access Management (IAM) to bridge business requirements and technical implementation across enterprise identity and access management initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in business analysis, SailPoint, and AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), with the ability to translate business and security requirements into effective IAM solutions.

The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, security teams, application owners, and technology teams to improve identity governance, access management processes, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with business stakeholders, application owners, cybersecurity teams, and IT teams to gather, analyse, and document IAM requirements.
• Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyse existing identity and access management processes and identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and risk reduction.
• Support IAM implementation, application onboarding, and integration initiatives involving SailPoint and AWS IAM.
• Work on identity lifecycle management, including user provisioning, deprovisioning, access reviews, role management, and access certification.
• Support Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) initiatives, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and access governance frameworks.
• Identify and investigate access-related anomalies, orphan accounts, uncorrelated identities, stale accounts, and inappropriate access privileges.
• Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications and validate proposed solutions.
• Support access control assessments, audit requirements, security controls, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, UAT planning, defect tracking, and implementation reviews.
• Track requirements, project dependencies, risks, and deliverables while ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, preferably in IAM, information security, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology environments.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS Identity and Access Management (AWS IAM).
• 5+ years of experience working with SailPoint and identity governance or access management solutions.
• Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, access provisioning, deprovisioning, access certification, and RBAC.
• Experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews, process mapping, functional documentation, and business process analysis.
• Understanding of authentication, authorisation, federation, and enterprise access control frameworks.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across business, security, application development, infrastructure, and compliance.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira or equivalent requirements and project-tracking platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Good to Have:

• Exposure to other IAM and security platforms such as Okta, Ping Identity, CyberArk, or HashiCorp Vault.
• Familiarity with Azure IAM, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and privileged access management concepts.
• Understanding of identity and authentication standards and protocols such as SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SCIM, and LDAP.
• Experience supporting IAM audits, risk assessments, access governance, and compliance initiatives.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Candidates with strong business analysis capabilities and hands-on exposure to SailPoint and AWS IAM, particularly in enterprise IAM transformation, identity governance, access controls, and security compliance projects, will be preferred.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period are preferred.
