GST Manager Job Requisition-

· Play an instrumental role in managing Indirect taxation and GST Audit for our clients. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant GST regulations and providing advice on GST-related matters.

· Provide professional advice, both written and in person, on GST impact on clients’ supply chain and financial and accounting systems.

· Identifying and addressing areas of GST risk, advising clients on the GST implication of transactions and assist them in complying with GST regulations

· building & maintaining relationship with our clients and helping people to develop through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring staff.

· Ensuring the adherence to GST laws, rules, and regulations. This involves staying up-to-date with changes in GST laws and implementing necessary modifications.

· Handling GST audits and assessments and need to represent the organization during these audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

· Maintaining proper records of GST transactions, invoices, and other relevant documents to support GST filings and compliance.

· Managing GST refund claims, if applicable, and ensuring timely receipt of refunds. Also, handling situations where GST reversals are required.

· Overseeing the proper utilization of input tax credit and ensuring compliance with input tax credit provisions.

· Conducting training sessions for team on GST-related matters to enhance their understanding and compliance.

· Assessing the impact of changes in business operations, tax rates, or GST laws on the organization and providing guidance on necessary adjustments.

· Liaising with GST authorities, responding to queries, and resolving any issues or disputes related to GST.

Qualification and competency Required: -

· A degree in economics, finance, tax or accounting; a CPA or similar certification

· 5-8 years of work experience in a professional services or professional tax organization dealing indirect tax matters

· Hands-on experience for complex GST technical review

· Excellent verbal/written communication skills

· Strong drive to excel professionally, and to guide and motivate others 

· Independent in managing own workload, ability to work under pressure and to keep things moving and to juggle multiple tasks

· Excellent team player
