Accounting Systems Analyst

Position Summary- The Accounting Systems Analyst supports the Accounting Information Systems Administrator by assisting in the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Workday and other Accounting Information Systems. This role helps optimize system functionality, collaborate with consultants and internal teams, and ensures effective integration of technology solutions across the organization. The ideal candidate has working knowledge of Workday, Concur, and High Radius, along with familiarity with SQL. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-

• Support the Systems Administrator in coordinating day-to-day management of the Workday
• system and ensuring system functionality meets organizational needs.
• Create and maintain a robust documentation database for procedures related to the
• systems
• Assist with managing Workday ERP-related contracts, including coordination with
• consultants and support partners.
• Collaborate with ERP vendors to ensure timely issue resolution and ongoing system
• support.
• Participate in the deployment, evaluation and communication of ERP upgrades,
• enhancements, and system patches.
• Assist with installation, configuration, and ongoing improvement of Accounting Information
• Systems.
• Identify and execute process improvements related to system workflows, troubleshooting,
• and efficiency.
• Create, maintain, and optimize Workday reports and dashboards to support reporting
• accuracy and operational visibility.
• Support data integrity efforts across all accounting systems.
• Support training activities for new Workday or ERP modules before, during, and after
• implementation.
• Provide end-user assistance, including troubleshooting issues and helping teams maximize
• system functionality.
• Assist the Accounting team during month end close and other recurring financial processes.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses, assignments, and special projects as requested by management.

EDUCATION AND COMPETENCIES-

• Major in computer science or hands on work experience
• 1+ years of systems experience
• Excellent communication skills and acute business acumen.
• Seeking a collaborative individual with the ability to take direction from management.
• Basic problem-solving and time management skills.

Detail oriented and ability to work under pressure/tight deadlines, to learn quickly, take initiative, adjust and respond to a fast-paced, changing environment with dynamic business conditions.

Determined ability to work independently and able to propose solutions with acute decision making.

ACCOUNTING SYSTEMS EXPERIENCE-

• Experience with ERP systems; Workday strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Concur, High Radius, and SQL preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data mapping, sorting, grouping, filters, and formula creation).
