• Position Overview

The Senior Manager – Research (B2B) will lead the delivery of high-quality equity and market research solutions for institutional clients, corporate partners, wealth distributors, family offices, PMS, AIFs, banks, and other B2B stakeholders. The role requires strong analytical expertise, sector knowledge, client management capabilities, and the ability to generate actionable investment insights that support business development and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities

Research & Analysis

• Conduct in-depth research on listed companies, sectors, industries, and macroeconomic trends.
• Develop financial models, valuation frameworks, earnings forecasts, and investment recommendations.
• Monitor corporate developments, regulatory announcements, industry trends, and market movements.
• Prepare detailed research reports, thematic reports, sector updates, and strategy notes.
• Generate actionable investment ideas for institutional and B2B clients.

B2B Client Engagement

• Act as a key research partner for institutional clients, wealth management firms, distributors, PMS, AIFs, banks, and corporate partners.
• Present investment ideas and market outlook through meetings, webinars, conference calls, and client presentations.
• Address client research queries and provide customized analytical solutions.
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and drive client satisfaction.

Business Development Support

• Collaborate with sales and institutional business teams to support client acquisition and retention.
• Participate in research marketing initiatives, roadshows, investor conferences, and client events.
• Provide research-backed insights to enhance the firms market positioning and business growth.
• Support the development of new research products and service offerings.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and guide research analysts and associates.
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness of research publications.
• Establish best practices in research methodologies, financial modeling, and report writing.
• Drive knowledge-sharing and skill development within the team.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure adherence to SEBI regulations, research analyst guidelines, and internal compliance policies.
• Maintain high standards of research integrity, objectivity, and confidentiality.
• Ensure all research reports meet regulatory and internal quality requirements.

Key Deliverables

• Institutional research reports and investment recommendations.

• Quarterly and annual earnings analysis.
• Client presentations and market outlook reports.
• Customized research solutions for B2B clients.
• Revenue support through research-led client engagement.

• MBA (Finance), CA, CFA, FRM, Masters in Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
• NISM Research Analyst Certification (preferred).
• Additional capital market certifications will be an advantage.

• 8-12+ years of experience in Equity Research, Institutional Research, Capital Markets, or Investment Research.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing institutional or B2B research relationships.
• Experience in stock broking, investment banking, asset management, PMS, AIF, or research organizations preferred.
• Proven experience in leading research teams and handling institutional clientele.
