Job Description
Role Objective
As a Service Engineer / DET, you will be the face of Jakson at customer locations, ensuring smooth operation of Cummins engines and associated electrical systems in the field. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem solving, and travelling to different customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site service, troubleshooting and maintenance support to Cummins engine users in the field.
- Diagnose issues, carry out repairs and ensure minimal downtime for customers.
- Recommend spare parts, AMCs and job work to customers, and share business opportunities/feedback with the Branch Manager.
- Work with electrical controllers and panels (experience in this area will be a strong advantage).
- Prepare basic service reports and documentation using MS Office tools.
- Travel regularly to customer locations as per service requirements.Role & responsibilities
