Role Summary

The Product Content & Digital Experience Specialist develops, maintains, and publishes accurate, useful, and customer-focused product and digital content across company websites, ecommerce platforms, marketplaces, email, social channels, and dealer websites.

The role translates complex product specifications and technical information into clear guidance that helps customers understand products, identify compatible parts, and use products effectively.

• Essential Functions:
• Develop and maintain website and landing-page copy that communicates product features, benefits, applications, and relevant customer information.
• Create and update product descriptions, parts catalogue content, compatibility information, installation instructions, FAQs, product comparisons, and marketplace listings.
• Translate complex product specifications, engineering details, and technical information into clear, accurate, and customer-friendly content.
• Prepare and maintain structured product information to support consistent content presentation and merchandising.
• Publish approved content through existing content management systems, website platforms, and ecommerce tools, following established workflows and approval processes.
• Adapt approved content for social channels, websites, and other digital touchpoints while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
• Support product information management by maintaining content completeness, consistency, accuracy, and alignment across relevant systems and channels.
• Coordinate with product, engineering, marketing, sales, ecommerce, IT, and other stakeholders to validate technical details and resolve content gaps.
• Review and proofread content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, formatting, usability, and adherence to brand and content standards.
• Maintain content updates and publishing records, track assigned work, and ensure approved changes are delivered within agreed timelines.
• Identify outdated, incomplete, duplicate, or inconsistent product content and coordinate corrections with the relevant stakeholders.
• Support ongoing improvements to content templates, publishing processes, product data quality, and digital customer experience.
• Manage multiple content requests and priorities while maintaining attention to detail and a high standard of quality.
• Strengthen SEO, structured data, parts catalogs, and eCommerce product content.
• Education/Experience:
• 08-10 years of relevant experience in technical writing, product content, digital content management, merchandising, product information management, or a related field.

Demonstrated experience developing content for products with technical specifications, parts information, compatibility requirements, or installation guidance; B2B, industrial, manufacturing, or engineering experience is highly relevant.

• Strong technical writing and editing skills, with the ability to turn complex specifications into clear, structured, customer-friendly guidance.
• Hands-on experience with content management systems and publishing approved content across website and platforms.
• Working knowledge of merchandising, product detail pages, marketplace listings, and structured product information.
• Understanding of SEO fundamentals, including page content, metadata, keywords, and content structure.
• Experience maintaining product information, parts catalogs, compatibility data, FAQs, comparisons, and other product-support content.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to validate information with subject-matter experts before publishing.
• Ability to collaborate across product, engineering, marketing, sales, ecommerce, and IT teams and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Experience with content development tools such as Adobe Experience Manager, MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, and Adobe InDesign for creating, managing, and publishing digital and technical content.
