Software Engineer (Java)

In this role, you will contribute to all phases of the software lifecycle, including requirements analysis, development, and deployment. It is essential to maintain high-quality standards for the work undertaken and take ownership of the design, implementation, and documentation of product features. You will ensure that assigned projects align with established engineering processes, meet scope and schedule constraints, and follow agile project plans. Participation in code reviews and effective collaboration within a distributed team are also expected.

Key technical expertise areas required for this role include strong programming skills in Java with a clear understanding of Object-Oriented programming, experience in building production applications using Java and the Spring framework, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to quickly learn new programming languages and frameworks. Experience working with REST APIs and distributed systems is also necessary.

Additional knowledge in areas such as Kafka, containerization technologies like Docker, Design Patterns application in system design, DevOps & Infrastructure tooling (e.g., Git CI/CD, Jenkins, Git), Test Driven & Behavior Driven Development, Agile Scrum/Kanban methodologies, and fundamental understanding of Native Cloud Environments like AWS or Azure would be advantageous.,
