Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense Ayurvedic and proprietary medicines accurately as per prescriptions.
• Maintain proper records of receipt, storage, and issue of all medicines and raw materials.
• Ensure medicines are stored in appropriate conditions to maintain potency and shelf life.
• Assist physicians in sourcing or substituting medicines when needed.
• Counsel patients on dosage, timing, and method of use for medicines.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate procurement with vendors and the hospitals purchase department.
• Keep accurate billing and patient dispensing records.
• Conduct regular stock audits and manage expired or damaged stock appropriately.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: Diploma or Bachelors degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / D.Pharm) with specialization or certification in Ayurvedic pharmacy preferred.

Registration: Valid registration with State Pharmacy Council.

Experience: Minimum 13 years of experience in hospital or dispensary setting.

Skills:

Attention to detail and record-keeping.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
