Role Description The Placement Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Placement Officer will coordinate with employers to identify job opportunities, build and maintain strong industry relationships, and promote Jetking learners for suitable openings. Daily responsibilities include organizing campus recruitment drives, scheduling interviews, maintaining placement records, and tracking student outcomes. The role also involves preparing learners for interviews through resume guidance, mock interviews, soft skills support, and career counseling. The Placement Officer will collaborate with academic and training teams to align placement activities with market needs and ensure high placement success rates.

• Strong relationship-building and networking skills to engage with hiring partners, corporate recruiters, and industry stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with learners, employers, and internal teams.
• Organizational and coordination skills to manage placement drives, interview schedules, and accurate reporting of placement data.
• Career counseling and mentoring skills to guide learners on job search strategies, resume building, and interview preparation.
• Ability to understand IT and digital skills job roles, with familiarity in domains such as networking, cloud, cybersecurity, or related areas preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools, spreadsheets, and basic databases or CRM systems to maintain employer and student records.
• Prior experience in placements, corporate relations, HR, recruitment, or training and development is highly beneficial.
• Bachelors degree in any discipline; a specialization in Management, HR, Education, or related fields is an advantage.
• Strong ethical standards, a learner-centric mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced educational environment.
