Job Description
What role will you play in the team
You will serve as a core technical specialist responsible for the seamless migration, integration, and synchronization of enterprise-grade databases and data warehouses. Your contributions will ensure that critical business intelligence applications and reporting tools receive uninterrupted, high-integrity data feeds derived from complex legacy migrations and modern cloud-native storage systems.
What you will do
You will architect end-to-end data integration strategies using industry-standard ETL platforms and custom scripting languages. Your day-to-day operations will involve extracting data from legacy relational databases, executing rigorous data cleansing protocols, transforming schemas to match modern analytical paradigms, and loading them into high-performance PostgreSQL and MongoDB repositories.
Key responsibility
- Architect and execute complex enterprise ETL and data migration strategies across diverse legacy and modern database infrastructures.
- Develop, test, and deploy automated data integration workflows using tools such as Talend, Informatica, and Apache Nifi.
- Design normalized and denormalized database schemas, writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers for PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Implement data governance, data masking, and validation protocols to ensure strict adherence to enterprise security and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with data architects to streamline database performance, index optimization, and storage capacity planning across production environments.
Required Qualification and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or an equivalent quantitative field.
- Minimum of 0 to 1 years of professional experience in enterprise database management, data warehousing, and ETL development.
- Deep working knowledge of database management systems including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB alongside Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Spark.
- Hands-on expertise utilizing enterprise ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, and Apache Nifi for scheduled and real-time data flows.
- Strong interpersonal skills, meticulous attention to detail, and proven ability to manage multiple migration pipelines simultaneously under tight deadlines.
