What role will you play in the team

You will play a crucial role within our elite investment banking execution team, supporting senior dealmakers by producing rigorous financial models, comprehensive valuation deliverables, and pitch materials for high-stakes mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions across diverse domestic and international industry verticals in India.

What you will do

You will actively build, audit, and maintain complex financial models, execute detailed comparable company analyses, and formulate discounted cash flow scenarios. Additionally, you will coordinate seamlessly with cross-functional advisory units, review confidential information memorandums, and synthesize raw market data into actionable strategic insights for institutional clients.

Key responsibility

• Develop and maintain complex financial models incorporating DCF, LBO, and sum-of-the-parts valuation methodologies for live M&A transactions.
• Perform exhaustive comparable company and precedent transaction analyses utilizing advanced financial databases and terminal software.
• Prepare comprehensive pitch books, confidential information memorandums, management presentations, and board-level advisory decks.
• Conduct thorough financial statement analysis, ratio trending, and earnings variance reviews to identify core value drivers.
• Collaborate closely with senior bankers, legal counsels, and tax advisors during comprehensive due diligence processes.
• Synthesize quantitative findings and market intelligence to support client negotiations and strategic decision-making.
• Ensure absolute accuracy, consistency, and compliance in all quantitative outputs, financial schedules, and valuation metrics.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or a related quantitative discipline from a premier academic institution.
• Demonstrated expertise in advanced financial statement analysis, valuation techniques, and corporate finance principles.
• Hands-on operational proficiency with Bloomberg Terminal, Capital IQ, FactSet, and advanced Microsoft Excel VBA macros.
• In-depth understanding of capital markets platforms, deal tracking tools, and M&A modeling tools for transaction structuring.
• Exceptional quantitative aptitude coupled with rigorous attention to detail and impeccable analytical problem-solving capabilities.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly.
