Job Description
You will play a pivotal role in our Investment Banking division based in Coimbatore, executing complex financial valuations, constructing robust merger and acquisition models, and partnering directly with senior dealmakers to facilitate high-stakes cross-border transactions and strategic corporate restructurings for prominent industry leaders across the Indian subcontinent.
What you will do
You will independently build comprehensive discounted cash flow and leveraged buyout models, extract financial data utilizing Bloomberg Terminal and Capital IQ platforms, synthesize comprehensive pitch decks, and participate actively in client presentation meetings alongside senior corporate advisory directors.
Key responsibility
- Perform rigorous financial analysis and historical trend reviews on prospective targets.
- Construct detailed DCF and LBO financial models incorporating various macroeconomic scenarios.
- Utilize Bloomberg Terminal, Capital IQ, and PitchBook to gather market intelligence and transaction multiples.
- Execute comparable company and precedent transaction analyses with pinpoint accuracy.
- Draft confidential information memorandums and management presentations for buy-side and sell-side mandates.
- Coordinate closely with legal, tax, and accounting due diligence teams during live deal execution stages.
Required Qualification and Skills
- Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Demonstrate 0-1 years of hands-on experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or valuation services.
- Exhibit advanced proficiency in financial analysis, valuation techniques, and DCF modeling frameworks.
- Display expert command over Microsoft Excel, Excel Macros & VBA, and PowerPoint presentation tools.
- Maintain familiarity with Bloomberg Terminal, Capital IQ, and PitchBook market data platforms.
- Exhibit exceptional verbal and written communication skills with acute attention to detail.
