What role will you play in the team

As an Investment Banking Valuation and DCF Modeling Specialist, you will act as a core pillar of our financial advisory practice based in Visakhapatnam. Your primary focus will involve developing complex quantitative financial models, performing rigorous company valuations, and conducting comprehensive market research to support high-stakes mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions for our elite global corporate clientele.

What you will do

You will collaborate closely with senior bankers and deal teams to execute end-to-end financial analyses. Your daily responsibilities encompass synthesizing historical financial statements, constructing discounted cash flow frameworks, evaluating trading and transaction multiples using FactSet and Bloomberg Terminal, and preparing pitch books that clearly articulate strategic financial recommendations to executive stakeholders.

Key responsibility

• Design, build, and audit complex Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) models incorporating sensitivity and scenario analyses to determine intrinsic company values.
• Perform comprehensive Comparable Company Analysis (CCA) and Precedent Transactions Analysis using market intelligence platforms like Bloomberg Terminal and FactSet.
• Extract, clean, and analyze vast quantities of financial data to formulate comprehensive valuation reports and strategic transaction rationales.
• Automate repetitive financial reporting workflows and model updates utilizing advanced Excel Macros and VBA scripts to maximize operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with cross-functional legal and accounting advisory teams during financial due diligence phases to validate underwriting assumptions.
• Participate actively in client pitch meetings, presenting detailed valuation outputs, accretion-dilution analyses, and capital structure recommendations.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative discipline from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrate 0 to 1 years of hands-on experience in financial modeling, corporate valuation, investment banking, or equity research environments.
• Expert-level proficiency in Financial Analysis, Valuation Techniques, DCF modeling, and Comparable Company Analysis.
• Advanced technical command over Excel Macros & VBA, Bloomberg Terminal, and FactSet data retrieval interfaces.
• Superior analytical aptitude, attention to detail, and the capability to synthesize complex financial data into actionable insights under tight deadlines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills tailored for high-level corporate interactions and persuasive presentation delivery.
