What role will you play in the team

As a backend engineering team member, you will design, build, and maintain robust server-side logic and database architectures using Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB. You will ensure high performance and responsiveness of requests from the frontend, while securing server endpoints and implementing scalable data storage solutions to support high-traffic enterprise applications.

What you will do

You will architect and develop secure RESTful APIs, design NoSQL database schemas, write comprehensive unit tests, and manage server deployments on cloud infrastructure. Your tasks will include optimizing query execution times in MongoDB, establishing authentication protocols, and collaborating closely with front-end developers to integrate server-side logic seamlessly into client applications.

Key responsibility

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and Express.js framework.
• Develop and optimize database schemas, collections, and indexes within MongoDB database systems.
• Create secure and efficient RESTful APIs for seamless communication with client-side applications.
• Implement data validation, error handling, and robust security protocols across all server endpoints.
• Manage source code versioning, branching strategies, and pull requests using Git and GitHub.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to define data exchange formats and integration contracts.
• Monitor server health, diagnose backend latency issues, and implement caching strategies.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 0 to 1 year of practical backend development experience involving Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
• Solid understanding of Database Systems, specifically NoSQL architectures and data modeling.
• Proficiency in API Development and integration of RESTful web services.
• Working knowledge of Version Control Systems like Git and GitHub for team collaboration.
• Familiarity with cloud hosting platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong analytical mindset and debugging skills for troubleshooting server-side exceptions.
