What role will you play in the team

As a Junior Minitab Quality Analytics and Statistical Process Engineer, you will play an instrumental role in driving data-driven quality control and manufacturing optimization initiatives. You will work within our analytical operations group to collect, clean, and evaluate large volumes of industrial and operational data, ensuring adherence to rigorous Six Sigma standards and statistical process control parameters for our prestigious global manufacturing and logistics clients.

What you will do

You will execute comprehensive statistical data analyses using Minitab and Python, construct interactive executive dashboards using Power BI and Tableau, and manage structured databases via MySQL and PostgreSQL. Your daily efforts will center on identifying process variations, predicting defect rates, and formulating actionable insights that empower engineering teams to streamline operations and enhance product quality consistency.

Key responsibility

• Perform advanced statistical data analysis, hypothesis testing, and capability studies utilizing Minitab software and Python.
• Design, build, and maintain real-time operational dashboards using Power BI and Tableau for executive stakeholders.
• Manage, query, and optimize relational databases including MySQL and PostgreSQL to ensure data integrity and rapid retrieval.
• Collaborate with industrial engineering teams to implement Six Sigma methodologies, control charts, and root-cause analyses.
• Automate routine data ingestion tasks and reporting pipelines using Zapier Automation and custom Python scripts.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis using scikit-learn and statistical analysis software like SPSS to uncover hidden operational trends.
• Document quality assurance protocols, standard operating procedures, and statistical modeling outcomes for compliance audits.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or related fields.
• 0 to 1 years of practical experience applying statistical analysis tools, specifically Minitab, SPSS, or similar software.
• Solid foundational knowledge of SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with Python programming, scikit-learn, and basic machine learning modeling concepts.
• Experience with automation platforms such as Zapier Automation and workflow optimization tools.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Effective interpersonal skills to present complex statistical findings to non-technical operational managers.
