What role will you play in the team

You will play a pivotal role in designing, constructing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and interactive reporting solutions. Working closely with data engineers and business stakeholders, you will be instrumental in consolidating disparate data sources into a centralized repository, ensuring high data availability, integrity, and performance for critical enterprise reporting systems.

What you will do

Your day-to-day operations will involve writing complex SQL queries, optimizing relational database schemas in PostgreSQL, and building dynamic analytical dashboards using Power BI. You will extract, transform, and load data efficiently, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and translate intricate business requirements into scalable, automated data architecture deliverables.

Key responsibility

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable relational database schemas and architectures using PostgreSQL for high-volume enterprise data systems.
• Develop, test, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to streamline data retrieval and manipulation processes.
• Build, publish, and maintain interactive, data-driven dashboards and reports using Power BI to support data-backed executive decision-making.
• Establish robust ETL workflows to ingest data from diverse operational sources into centralized data warehouses with high precision.
• Monitor and tune database performance, ensuring low latency, optimal indexing, and secure data storage practices are strictly followed.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a closely related quantitative technical discipline.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience utilizing PostgreSQL for database design, management, and complex query optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in leveraging Power BI for data visualization, DAX modeling, data transformation, and enterprise reporting deployment.
