Junior Product Manager - Jira Backlog And Roadmapping Software

What role will you play in the team

You will play a vital role within our core Product Management team, bridging the gap between business objectives and technical execution. As a Junior Product Manager focusing on Jira backlog management and roadmapping software, you will collaborate closely with engineering, design, and stakeholder groups to define product features, structure sprint backlogs, and drive feature releases that directly enhance our core digital offerings and elevate overall user experience standards.

What you will do

You will actively manage, groom, and prioritize the product backlog using Jira and Roadmapping Software like Aha! or ProductPlan. Your day-to-day duties involve translating high-level business goals into precise user stories, tracking sprint velocities, coordinating cross-functional release cycles, monitoring product metrics via Google Analytics and Hotjar, and synthesizing customer feedback tools to iterate continuously on our core application modules.

Key responsibility

• Maintain, groom, and ruthlessly prioritize the product backlog within Jira to ensure development squads have uninterrupted clarity on upcoming sprint deliverables.
• Design, update, and communicate comprehensive product roadmaps utilizing Roadmapping Software such as Aha! or ProductPlan to align executive stakeholders.
• Translate ambiguous business requirements into granular, actionable user stories complete with explicit acceptance criteria and definition of done.
• Monitor user behavior and feature engagement using Google Analytics and Hotjar to identify drop-off points and optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate daily with software engineering leads, QA testers, and UX designers during daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective sessions.
• Synthesize quantitative and qualitative data gathered from Customer Feedback Tools and UsabilityHub into structured engineering requirements.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking and market analysis to identify feature gaps and propose data-backed product enhancements.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related analytical discipline from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 0 to 1 year of hands-on professional experience in a software product management, business analysis, or technical coordination role.
• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing Jira, Confluence, and dedicated Roadmapping Software such as Aha! or ProductPlan.
• Strong foundational knowledge of Agile Methodologies, Scrum frameworks, and Kanban board management practices.
• Familiarity with tracking and analytics tools including Google Analytics, Hotjar, and UsabilityHub for user behavior insights.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to bridge technical and business conversations effectively.
