Job Description
What role will you play in the team
As a Junior React.js and JavaScript Frameworks Frontend Web Developer, you will play a foundational role in building and maintaining responsive user interfaces for our core enterprise web applications. You will collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and product managers to translate complex wireframes into clean, performant, and scalable component architectures using modern JavaScript and React.js libraries.
What you will do
You will write modular, testable, and reusable code utilizing React, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript ES6+. Your daily responsibilities will include integrating RESTful APIs, optimizing application performance across various browsers and devices, debugging rendering issues, and participating in code reviews to maintain high coding standards across the entire frontend development lifecycle.
Key responsibility
- Develop and maintain scalable frontend components using React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Consume and integrate RESTful APIs and asynchronous data services seamlessly into client-side applications.
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Collaborate with backend developers using Version Control Systems like Git and GitHub for code integration.
- Write unit tests and perform debugging to resolve frontend performance bottlenecks and rendering glitches.
- Participate in agile sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and architectural design discussions.
- Ensure adherence to web accessibility (a11y) standards and secure coding guidelines.
Required Qualification and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- 0 to 1 years of hands-on professional experience in frontend web development using React.js and JavaScript.
- Proficient understanding of HTML5, CSS3, DOM manipulation, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Familiarity with Version Control Systems such as Git and GitHub for collaborative workflows.
- Basic understanding of RESTful API integration and asynchronous request handling.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for visual design details and user experience.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced agile team.

A Day in the Life
Your day typically begins with a quick agile stand-up meeting to discuss sprint goals with the engineering team. You spend the morning developing custom React components and styling them with CSS3. After lunch, you integrate backend RESTful APIs into your components, test them locally, and push your commits to GitHub for peer review. You conclude your day by fixing minor responsive layout bugs flagged during QA testing.
