What role will you play in the team

As a Junior React.js and RESTful APIs Frontend Developer, you will be an integral part of our dynamic engineering division. Your core focus will involve architecting responsive user interfaces, consuming high-performance endpoints, and collaborating closely with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes into interactive, production-ready web applications using modern JavaScript libraries and robust state management principles.

What you will do

You will actively write clean, maintainable code using React, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Your day-to-day tasks include integrating secure RESTful APIs, optimizing application bundle sizes for maximum speed, debugging rendering issues, participating in comprehensive peer code reviews, and maintaining rigorous version control practices utilizing Git and GitHub within an agile sprint environment.

Key responsibility

• Develop responsive and scalable user interfaces using React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 following industry best practices.
• Integrate third-party and internal RESTful APIs seamlessly to handle asynchronous data fetching and state synchronization.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define data contracts, payload structures, and error-handling strategies for web applications.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed, responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and exceptional user experience across devices.
• Utilize Git and GitHub for version control, branching strategies, merge conflict resolution, and collaborative code deployment pipelines.
• Write unit and integration tests using modern testing frameworks to ensure high code coverage and bug-free releases.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical engineering discipline.
• 0 to 1 year of hands-on professional or academic experience building web applications using React.js and modern JavaScript.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, ES6+ JavaScript, DOM manipulation, and asynchronous programming concepts like Promises and Async/Await.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON data structures, HTTP request methods, and basic authentication token handling.
• Working knowledge of Version Control Systems specifically Git and collaborative workflows via GitHub repositories.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and eagerness to learn cloud ecosystems like AWS.

A Day in the Life

Your day begins with a quick daily stand-up meeting with your engineering squad to discuss sprint progress. You will spend the morning writing React components and connecting them to RESTful APIs. After lunch, you will troubleshoot a rendering bug, push your commits via Git to GitHub, and participate in a code review session before wrapping up your tasks.
