What role will you play in the team

As a Junior Tableau and Power BI Business Intelligence Analyst stationed in Kochi, you will become an essential pillar of our enterprise analytics team. You will be responsible for transforming complex, multi-source raw business data into intuitive, highly engaging visual dashboards and actionable strategic insights. Your role bridges technical data engineering and executive decision-making, empowering leadership teams across various business verticals to monitor Key Performance Indicators, track operational efficiency metrics, and drive data-backed organizational growth.

What you will do

You will extract, clean, and consolidate disparate datasets using advanced SQL queries and ETL tools, design interactive executive dashboards in Tableau and Power BI, and establish robust data governance frameworks. Additionally, you will conduct exploratory data analysis, translate vague business requirements into precise technical visualization specifications, automate recurring reporting workflows using modern automation tools, and present analytical findings directly to regional department heads.

Key responsibility

• Design, develop, and deploy comprehensive interactive dashboards and visual reports using Tableau, Power BI, and Google Data Studio.
• Write complex, highly optimized SQL queries, views, and stored procedures across relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL Server.
• Build and maintain robust ETL pipelines to ingest data from diverse operational systems into centralized analytical data warehouses.
• Perform extensive data profiling, validation, and cleaning to ensure absolute accuracy, consistency, and integrity of all reporting metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional business stakeholders to define core metric definitions, tracking parameters, and reporting requirements.
• Automate manual reporting processes and data refreshing schedules using tools like Zapier, n8n, and custom API webhooks.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, dashboard schemas, metric definitions, and user access control lists.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a quantitative analytical field.
• Proficiency in Data Visualization Tools including Tableau, Power BI, and Google Data Studio with a strong portfolio of visual dashboards.
• Advanced SQL querying skills and foundational experience with database management systems like PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and basic scripting in Python or R for data manipulation.
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Zapier, n8n, and Flowise to streamline analytical data flows.
• Strong interpersonal skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to articulate complex data insights clearly.
