What role will you play in the team

You will serve as an integral member of our Private Equity and Venture Capital investment team, identifying high-growth target companies and constructing rigorous LBO models. Your responsibilities include evaluating private investment opportunities, conducting comprehensive market mapping, and supporting portfolio value creation strategies.

What you will do

You will source proprietary deal flow, analyze confidential information memoranda, and build detailed leveraged buyout models to assess potential equity returns. You will conduct primary and secondary market research, analyze industry fragmentation, and assist investment committees in making data-driven capital allocation decisions.

Key responsibility

• Build granular LBO and return models incorporating complex debt structures, tax implications, and exit scenarios.
• Leverage PitchBook, Dealogic, and Capital IQ to identify acquisition targets and analyze private market trends.
• Perform comprehensive financial analysis and valuation techniques to determine optimal entry multiples.
• Draft detailed investment memos, term sheets, and preliminary investment committee presentations.

• Analyze historical operational metrics and forecast cash flow generation capabilities of target firms.
• Collaborate with portfolio company management teams to track key performance indicators post-acquisition.
• Maintain proprietary deal databases and monitor competitive landscape developments across target sectors.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Strong command over LBO modeling, DCF valuation, and Financial Analysis methodologies.
• Proficiency in utilizing PitchBook, Dealogic, FactSet, and Capital IQ platforms.
• Advanced modeling skills with strong working knowledge of Excel Macros & VBA.
• Exceptional analytical thinking, attention to detail, and commercial business acumen.
• Prior internship or coursework focused on private equity, investment banking, or corporate finance.
