What role will you play in the team
You will play a pivotal role in driving our private equity growth equity investment strategies by evaluating early-stage and growth-stage target companies. Your core focus will be on identifying high-potential market opportunities, conducting rigorous industry research, and synthesizing complex financial data utilizing advanced market intelligence platforms to support senior investment partners in executing high-value transactions.
What you will do
Your daily routine will involve screening inbound pitch decks, building preliminary financial screening frameworks, and running comprehensive comparable company analysis. You will collaborate closely with deal teams to track sector trends, map competitive landscapes, and formulate strategic investment theses backed by quantitative research and empirical data gathered from terminal databases.
Key responsibility
- Conduct rigorous financial screening of growth-stage target companies using FactSet and PitchBook terminals.
- Perform detailed Comparable Company Analysis and benchmark financial metrics against industry peers.
- Collaborate with investment principals to evaluate deal flow, sector trends, and market expansion potential.
- Prepare comprehensive screening memos and preliminary investment teasers for the investment committee.
- Track macroeconomic indicators and sector-specific regulatory updates impacting private equity portfolios.
- Maintain proprietary deal pipeline databases and assist in managing confidential information memoranda.
Required Qualification and Skills
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative discipline from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrate foundational knowledge of corporate finance principles, financial statements, and valuation techniques.
- Hands-on familiarity with financial research tools including FactSet, PitchBook, and Capital IQ.
- Proficiency in building structured financial models and utilizing advanced Microsoft Excel functions and macros.
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and rigorous quantitative problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing executive-level presentations and investment summaries.

A Day in the Life
