What role will you play in the team

You will serve as a foundational pillar within our private equity portfolio analytics division, empowering investment committees with data-driven performance metrics and rigorous risk evaluations. Your core focus will center on leveraging advanced financial platforms to monitor portfolio company health, evaluate strategic add-on acquisitions, and optimize asset allocation strategies across our growing private equity fund portfolio.

What you will do

You will harness powerful market intelligence platforms to track operational milestones, conduct attribution analyses, and build predictive financial dashboards. By partnering with portfolio company CFOs and investment directors, you will identify operational inefficiencies, streamline capital deployment tracking, and produce institutional investor reporting packages that highlight fund performance and risk mitigation metrics.

Key responsibility

• Analyze periodic financial statements and operational KPIs of portfolio companies using Refinitiv Eikon and Capital IQ databases.
• Construct and maintain dynamic portfolio monitoring models to evaluate internal rate of return and multiple on invested capital.
• Execute quantitative risk assessments and scenario testing using specialized financial analytics and reporting platforms.
• Draft comprehensive quarterly and annual investor report summaries detailing portfolio health, market headwinds, and exit strategies.
• Evaluate prospective add-on acquisition targets by running screeners across PitchBook, Dealogic, and proprietary databases.
• Partner with internal compliance teams to ensure adherence to fund mandates, regulatory standards, and ESG metrics.
• Automate routine data extraction and reporting workflows using advanced spreadsheet functions and data visualization tools.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Data Analytics, or Applied Economics.
• 0 to 1 year of professional experience in private equity operations, portfolio management, or quantitative financial research.
• Deep familiarity with Eikon, Capital IQ, PitchBook, Dealogic, Financial Analysis, and Valuation Techniques.
• Strong working knowledge of Risk Management Software, SAS Risk Management, and Capital Markets Platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, database management, and financial data wrangling techniques.
• Exceptional analytical mindset with the capability to translate raw data sets into compelling executive presentations.
• Impeccable time-management skills and the ability to balance multiple competing fund reporting priorities efficiently.
