What role will you play in the team

As a Private Equity Portfolio Risk Assessment and Capital Markets Platform Expert located in Kolkata, you will take charge of evaluating and mitigating investment risks across our diverse portfolio companies. You will serve as the technical authority on risk management software, ensuring that our investment strategies align with strict regulatory compliance and risk appetite frameworks.

What you will do

You will deploy cutting-edge risk management software and SAS Risk Management tools to monitor portfolio exposure, liquidity metrics, and market volatilities. You will partner closely with portfolio operations teams to implement robust risk mitigation protocols, conduct quantitative stress tests, and present actionable risk intelligence to the investment committee.

Key responsibility

• Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive quantitative risk assessment frameworks using SAS Risk Management and proprietary risk software.
• Monitor daily market movements and portfolio exposure across various capital markets platforms to identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Conduct exhaustive sensitivity analyses and liquidity stress-testing for newly acquired and legacy private equity assets.
• Collaborate with portfolio company CFOs to optimize capital structures and enhance operational risk governance standards.
• Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly risk governance reports for executive leadership and investment committee review.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Risk Management, or Actuarial Science.
• Bring 1 to 2 years of specialized experience in private equity risk management, quantitative analytics, or capital markets platforms.
• Expert-level command over SAS Risk Management, advanced Risk Management Software, and capital markets trading interfaces.
• Deep working knowledge of valuation techniques, DCF modeling, and macroeconomic risk factor attribution.
• Strong analytical mindset with impeccable attention to detail and ability to translate complex data into strategic insights.
