What role will you play in the team

As an essential member of our private equity analytics division, you will be instrumental in evaluating investment risks, constructing quantitative stress tests, and assessing portfolio company exposures. Your insights will directly influence investment committee decisions and help safeguard our multi-crore fund investments against volatile macroeconomic and capital market fluctuations.

What you will do

You will utilize enterprise risk platforms to run quantitative simulations, measure portfolio Value at Risk (VaR), and build comprehensive risk reporting dashboards. Your role requires continuous collaboration with our portfolio operations teams to monitor leverage metrics, credit profiles, and covenant compliance across our entire asset portfolio.

Key responsibility

• Deploy SAS Risk Management tools to model credit, market, and operational risks across private equity portfolio companies.
• Build and maintain robust quantitative risk assessment frameworks, liquidity forecasting models, and stress-testing protocols.
• Generate detailed monthly and quarterly risk exposure reports for review by senior fund managers and the risk oversight committee.
• Analyze capital structure vulnerabilities and debt service coverage ratios to proactively flag potential portfolio distress indicators.
• Integrate alternative asset valuation data with enterprise risk management software to ensure compliance with internal risk thresholds.

Required Qualification and Skills

• Postgraduate degree in Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Risk Management, or related analytical fields.
• Hands-on experience or academic proficiency in SAS Risk Management and advanced risk analytics software.
• Solid understanding of private equity asset classes, leverage structures, and portfolio risk management principles.
• Proficiency in programming languages or data querying tools used for financial data manipulation and automated reporting.
• Strong analytical mindset with proven capability to interpret complex financial datasets and present actionable risk mitigations.
