Product Manager (Platform)

What role will you play in the team

As a Product Manager for our platform, you'll be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy for our core technology platform. This involves understanding the needs of various internal and external stakeholders, prioritizing features, and ensuring the platform scales effectively to support our growing business.

What you will do

You will lead the development and execution of the product roadmap for the platform. This includes gathering requirements, writing user stories, working with engineering teams to build and deploy features, and continuously iterating based on user feedback and data analysis. You will also manage stakeholder expectations and communicate updates effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the platform.
• Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements.
• Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Analyze product performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Communicate product plans, benefits, and results to a wide range of audiences, from internal teams to external stakeholders.
• Manage the product backlog and prioritize features based on business value and technical feasibility.
• Ensure the platform meets the needs of internal and external users.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to inform the product roadmap.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in product management, with a focus on platform products.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
• Experience with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ProductPlan.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with API design and development.
• Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
