Senior Software Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python backend development, React and TypeScript frontend development, and experience integrating AI powered features and LLM based applications. The role also involves technical guidance, code reviews, and ensuring application performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, build, test, deploy, and support full stack product features.
2. Develop backend services and APIs using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django. Experience with Node.js is an added advantage.
3. Build responsive frontend interfaces using React and TypeScript.
4. Implement AI enabled features, including retrieval based search, conversational interfaces, and workflow automation.
5. Work with embeddings, vector databases, model APIs, prompt design, and evaluation approaches wherever required.
6. Design data models and integrations while ensuring performance, security, maintainability, and timely delivery.
7. Write automated tests, review pull requests, troubleshoot production issues, and improve monitoring and reliability.
8. Break requirements into practical development tasks, estimate effort, and identify technical risks early.
9. Support Associate Engineers through code reviews, pairing, and day to day technical guidance.

Qualifications:

1. Experience and Qualifications

1. A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2. 3-5 years of software engineering experience, with evidence of independently delivering production features.
3. Strong working knowledge of Python and API development, along with hands-on experience in React and TypeScript.
4. Solid understanding of databases, authentication, authorization, Git, testing, and CI/CD.
5. Experience integrating LLM services or building AI enabled application features.
6. Working knowledge of cloud deployment, containers, application monitoring, and secure development practices.

2. Technical Depth

1. Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS services used for application hosting, data, identity, AI, and monitoring.
2. Practical understanding of RAG pipelines, vector search, prompt and model evaluation, and AI observability.
3. Familiarity with Docker, infrastructure as code, queues, caching, and event-driven integrations.
4. Ability to discuss technical trade-offs clearly with engineers, consultants, and business stakeholders.
5. Experience using AI-assisted development tools responsibly, with appropriate review and testing of generated code.
