Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Associate Software Engineer (.Net Full Stack Developer) based in India.

This is an early-career software engineering opportunity focused on building, testing, and maintaining reliable applications and services.
You’ll contribute across the development lifecycle while gaining practical experience with modern software engineering practices.
The role offers exposure to both backend and frontend development using .NET, AngularJS, SQL, and related technologies.
You’ll work alongside an Agile development team to deliver quality software and troubleshoot technical issues.
You’ll also have opportunities to strengthen your testing skills and learn new technologies, tools, and development methodologies.
The position is well suited to a motivated developer who enjoys learning, solving problems, and collaborating with others.
It provides a strong environment for building technical foundations and progressing within a software engineering career.

Accountabilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain software applications and services using established engineering practices.

  • Write clean, scalable, readable, and maintainable code.

  • Contribute to full-stack development activities using technologies such as .NET, AngularJS, and SQL.

  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and technical issues.

  • Develop and execute unit tests to help ensure application functionality and software quality.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to iterative development and delivery processes.

  • Collaborate with team members to understand requirements, resolve issues, and deliver software solutions effectively.

  • Learn and apply new technologies, development tools, frameworks, and engineering methodologies.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of coding, testing, and development practices.

  • Take ownership of assigned development tasks while seeking guidance and feedback when needed.

  • Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical discipline.

    • 1–3 years of professional software development experience.

    • Foundational to intermediate experience with .NET or related Microsoft development technologies.

    • Experience with frontend technologies such as AngularJS.

    • Working knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.

    • Demonstrated experience developing and testing software applications or services.

    • Ability to troubleshoot software defects and investigate technical issues methodically.

    • Understanding of software development fundamentals, coding practices, and application testing.

    • Experience working within an Agile or collaborative software development environment.

    • Strong willingness and ability to learn new technologies, tools, and development methodologies.

    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

    • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

    • Ability to work constructively within a team while taking ownership of assigned responsibilities.
