As a Fund Servicing Associate I within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our operational services related to fund accounting and administration. Your work will have a meaningful impact within our department, as you apply your broad knowledge of fund servicing principles and practices to perform diverse activities requiring analysis and judgement. With your advanced emotional intelligence, you will build trusting relationships with peers, managers, and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment. Your continuous improvement mindset will drive you to propose and implement improvements to our current working methods, contributing to the efficiency and resilience of our operating platform.
Job responsibilities
  • Provide operational support for initial charge and trailer fee setup, including calculations, reporting and payment processing based on distribution agreements and setup forms.
  • Manage settlement, receipting and payment processing, ensuring transactions are completed accurately and within established timelines.
  • Perform reconciliations of fund receipts against payments and reinvestments, investigating and escalating breaks or exceptions promptly.
  • Support NAV loading, price runs and fund reporting for Transfer Agency-supported funds.
  • Manage high-volume daily processing while maintaining accuracy and consistently meeting service delivery standards and deadlines.
  • Identify and escalate errors, exceptions and operational risks, while ensuring adherence to established policies, procedures and controls.
  • Partner with Transfer Agency, Technology and Operations teams to resolve issues and respond effectively to internal and external stakeholder queries.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, including enhancing accuracy, reducing redundancy, strengthening controls and improving the overall client experience.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelors degree, in a business-related discipline, with up to 5+ years of financial services experience.
  • Understanding of the trade lifecycle and Transfer Agency operations

    , with prior Transfer Agency or reconciliation experience.
  • Knowledge of reconciliations, settlements, payments, NAV processing and/or fund servicing operations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to identify and resolve operational exceptions.
  • Ability to work accurately in a high-volume, fast-paced and deadline-driven environment while effectively managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with a client-focused and collaborative approach.
  • Ability to work independently, learn new concepts and procedures quickly, and demonstrate strong ownership and follow-through.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook, with the ability to work effectively across operational systems and processes.
