JSW One - Regional Logistics Manager - North

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Regional Logistics Manager to lead and manage warehousing, distribution, and transportation operations for the North region. The role will be responsible for driving logistics excellence, cost optimization, service improvement, inventory management, and HSE compliance while supporting business growth objectives.
Total Experience: 12-17 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end logistics and distribution operations across the region.
- Manage multiple warehouses/depots and ensure efficient functioning.
- Drive transportation management, fleet optimization, and service excellence.
- Plan and prioritize finished goods dispatches to meet customer requirements.
- Ensure safe transportation with minimum transit damages.
- Implement and monitor inventory control practices such as FIFO and JIT.
- Manage logistics budgets, costs, and productivity improvement initiatives.
- Drive HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) compliance across logistics operations.
- Oversee scrap and slow/non-moving inventory disposal.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Planning, Production, Commercial, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.
- Lead logistics teams and drive continuous improvement projects.
Candidate Profile:
- Engineering Graduate; MBA preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in Logistics, Warehousing, Distribution, or Supply Chain Management.
- Experience in B2B and/or B2C distribution networks.
- Strong expertise in warehouse operations, transportation, inventory management, and logistics planning.
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Continuous Improvement mindset with proven experience in cost optimization and service enhancement.
- Sound understanding of HSE standards and logistics compliance requirements.
