Job Description
Location : Mumbai
Experience Required : 5+ years in deep tech, new product/startup pre-sales or solutions consulting
Travel Requirement: 30% (customer events and site visits)
Core Responsibilities:
1. Technical Sales & Solution Design
- Lead technical demonstrations and customized solution presentations for industry verticals
- Conduct technical discovery calls with enterprise stakeholders
- Troubleshoot technical issues and analyze system logs during pre-sales engagements
2. Proof-of-Concept (POC) & Pilot Management
- Plan and execute end-to-end POCs and pilot programs from scoping through enterprise conversion
- Prepare industry-specific datasets and demo environments
- Address customer objections on data privacy, integration requirements, and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align customer needs with capabilities
- Provide feedback to influence product roadmap and feature development
- Design technical architecture solutions spanning AWS EKS, Azure AKS, GCP, multi-tenant, hybrid, and on-premises deployments
- Lead technical discovery to understand customer data environments and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with DevOps and deployment teams on optimal deployment strategies
- Provide system log analysis and technical troubleshooting during POC phases
4. Business Proposal & RFP Management
- Own end-to-end creation of business proposals, technical documentation, and solution briefs
- Lead RFP/RFI response processes with comprehensive technical and commercial submissions
- Develop user guides, datasheets, technical documentation, and case studies
- Create whitepapers demonstrating real-world implementations
5. Thought Leadership
- Represent organization at industry conferences and privacy/AI governance events
- Build relationships with DPOs, CISOs, Big 4 partners, and compliance executives
- Serve as subject matter expert on data privacy and responsible AI
Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Sales Expertise - Proven track record leading technical sales with enterprise/Global 2000 customers
- Domain Knowledge - Strong understanding of data privacy, security, data governance, or compliance technologies
- Communication - Excellent verbal & written skills; ability to convey complex technical concepts to mixed audiences (C-level, technical teams, procurement)
- Technical Skills - Hands-on familiarity with modern data infrastructure, APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), analytics tools
- POC Management - Experience managing technical POCs, resolving integration challenges, navigating enterprise security reviews
- Tools & Systems - Proficiency with CRM (Salesforce), sales enablement platforms, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Regulatory Knowledge - Understanding of GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA (strong advantage)
- Professional Traits - Self-motivated, detail-oriented, thrives in fast-paced growth environment, strong organizational & time management
- Education - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline (preferred) and a Secondary degree in Sales/Marketing/Management
