Accountant

Kazamer Tax Consultant is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to support its financial and accounting operations in Dubai. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, handle invoices and reconciliations, and assist with tax-related requirements. Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of accounting practices are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial and accounting records.
• Record daily transactions, journal entries, receipts, payments, and expenses.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare and verify invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and supporting documents.
• Perform regular bank and account reconciliations.
• Maintain and review general ledger accounts.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, schedules, and management reports.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and coordinate payment follow-ups.
• Verify expenses and ensure transactions are properly documented and authorized.
• Assist with VAT returns, tax documentation, and compliance-related activities.
• Support the preparation of financial information required for audits.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams regarding accounting and financial queries.
• Maintain organized digital and physical financial records.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and assist in resolving them promptly.
• Ensure accounting transactions comply with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Assist management with financial analysis and reporting when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and client information.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Previous experience as an Accountant in the UAE is preferred.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with UAE VAT and tax compliance is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Experience with accounting platforms such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar systems is preferred.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple accounting tasks efficiently.
