Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Chennai / Trichy

Experience: 6–8+ Years

Verbronnen Consultants Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our MEP Design & BIM team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Revit MEP and AutoCAD, with experience in designing electrical systems for building projects.

• Develop electrical system designs using Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
  
• Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), power distribution layouts, lighting layouts, earthing, lightning protection, and ELV system drawings.
• Perform load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop, and short-circuit calculations.
• Create and manage BIM models for electrical systems and coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues.
• Design electrical control panels, DDC/PLC panels, control schematics, terminal wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
• Prepare BOQs, cable schedules, datasheets, and other technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, BS, and NFPA standards.
• Support design reviews, site coordination, and commissioning activities.

• Proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD (Mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of electrical design, panel engineering, and ELV systems
• Experience in BIM coordination and MEP documentation
• Familiarity with IEC, IS, BS, and NFPA standards
• Working knowledge of Dialux/Relux and ETAP will be an added advantage

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering
