Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Technical Development & Ownership

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.
• Contribute to technical solution design and backend architecture discussions.
• Ensure high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code.

Architecture & Design

• Participate in designing scalable and secure backend systems using Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with system architects to ensure alignment with overall solution architecture.
• Support implementation of microservices and cloud-native solutions.

Code Review & Quality Assurance

• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Follow coding standards, secure development practices, and performance optimization techniques.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application performance and production issues.

Project Planning & Execution

• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure successful and timely delivery.
• Support effort estimation and technical task breakdown.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and architects.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to process improvements and engineering best practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and Spring ecosystem enhancements.

Database Integration

• Design and integrate solutions with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Work with:
  • MySQL
  • PostgreSQL
  • MongoDB
• Optimize database queries for performance and scalability.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in backend development using Java.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot Framework.
• Experience working on at least 2 Spring Boot-based enterprise projects.
