Role Description The Loan Against Property (LAP) Collection Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat. The role involves managing collections for loan against property accounts, including monitoring overdue payments, following up with customers, and negotiating feasible repayment plans in line with bank policies. The executive will review customer accounts, analyze repayment history, and ensure accurate documentation of all interactions and agreements. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal credit and operations teams, preparing periodic collection and status reports, and supporting compliance with regulatory and internal risk guidelines. The role requires maintaining professional, respectful communication with customers while working to minimize delinquency and protect the banks portfolio quality.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Credit Control and Debt Collection skills for managing LAP portfolios and overdue accounts.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to assess repayment capacity, identify risks, and interpret account data.
• Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of Finance, particularly lending and secured credit products.
• Relevant experience in banking or NBFC collections, especially in secured loans or mortgage products.
• Ability to work on-site in Surat, manage field visits when required, and adapt to dynamic targets.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office) and familiarity with collection or CRM systems.
• Minimum of a diploma or bachelors degree in commerce, finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
