Position Title - Equity Research AnalystGrade and Level - E3Department - InvestmentHead of the Department - Arinjay JainiReporting Manager - Ashish MishraWork Location - HyderabadKey ResponsibilitiesInvestment Research & Analysis Conduct in-depth fundamental research on equities, sectors, and markets, including analysis of financial statements, business models, valuation metrics, and macroeconomic indicators. Prepare financial models, forecasts, and investment notes to support fund managers in portfolio construction and investment decisions. Monitor equity markets and sectors to identify potential investment ideas and flag them to senior team members Track company developments, earnings announcements, corporate actions, and industry trends. Interact with company management, sell-side analysts, and other market participants to gather insights on business performance and investment potential.RequirementsKey Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of equity markets, valuation techniques, and trading strategies. Practical experience in equity trade execution, order management systems, and post-trade processes. Familiarity with IRDAI investment guidelines and regulatory frameworks (added advantage). Proficiency in financial tools and platforms such as Bloomberg, Excel, and trading systems. High level of analytical rigour with the ability to synthesize research into actionable investment insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with fund managers, brokers, and internal teams. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work under tight market-driven deadlinesQualifications & Experience/Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. Pursuing / completed professional qualifications such as CFA / MBA / FRM will be an advantage Up to 5 years of relevant experience in equity research, investment analysis, equity dealing Experience within the insurance sector or other regulated financial institutions is preferred but not mandatory.
