Title: Assistant Manager – Data Engineer

Experience: 5 - 9years

Work Location: Chennai/Bangalore

You will be a key member of our data engineering team, modernizing customer’s data management platforms, modelling the destination systems and the way they feed insights into downstream systems of engagement and make smarter, faster, and better decisions.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Partner with the client to understand the existing data sources & systems, understand the business objectives & map out an optimized futuristic data model to achieve the business objectives.

• Define a future data architecture roadmap & build a robust data quality framework to ensure high quality of data for our clients through consultative engagements, including assessments and technology evaluations, POCs, architecture deep-dive sessions, etc.

• Collaborate with LatentView’s technology partners to help design reference architectures using partner technology & help sales teams adapt to new technology and products in the fast-moving data engineering and automation landscape.

• Expertise in tools such as AWS, FiveTran, Snowflake & DBT to drive the responsibilities mentioned above.

• Expertise in data engineering landscape especially with tools like Snowflake, FiveTran, DBT & experience in migration projects.

• Experience in building traditional and modern data warehouses, lakes, on-premise and on the cloud platforms

• Deep knowledge of modern data engineering concepts, ETL/ELT paradigms

• Hands-on experience in modelling data marts using snowflake & developing data pipelines from ingestion to transformation using Snowflake, DBT, FiveTran

• Cloud development experience (One of the three - AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Knowledge of trends in the fast-moving data technologies landscape along with some understanding of & respect for the history of data & analytics technology (Data mesh, Streaming architecture, multi-cloud data platforms, Graph DB, Immuta, etc.)

• Strong problem-solving skills & analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

• Effectively communicate across all levels on project and program progress.

Experience in working for Analytics or IT Consulting Services company in a global delivery model will be a plus.
