Role Overview

We are looking for a Technical Solutions Consultant who can bridge the gap between business and technology.

This role is responsible for understanding client requirements, translating business challenges into practical technology solutions, preparing professional solution documents and proposals, and working closely with our engineering team to ensure successful project delivery.

You will become the primary technical representative during client engagements, working alongside the sales team while collaborating closely with developers, architects, and project teams.

This is a consulting role—not a sales role and not a software development role.

Key Responsibilities

Client Discovery & Consulting

• Participate in client meetings and discovery workshops.
• Understand client business processes, challenges, objectives, and technical requirements.
• Ask the right business and technical questions to uncover complete project requirements.
• Identify opportunities where technology can improve efficiency, automation, productivity, or customer experience.
• Build trust with clients by explaining technical concepts in simple business language.
• Conduct requirement clarification sessions throughout the project lifecycle.

Solution Design

• Design high-level solution approaches for software, AI, automation, and digital transformation projects.
• Recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, integrations, and implementation strategies.
• Work closely with technical leads to validate architecture, feasibility, scalability, and security considerations.
• Identify project assumptions, risks, dependencies, and constraints.
• Ensure proposed solutions align with client goals and budgets.

Proposal & Documentation

Own the creation and maintenance of client-facing technical documentation including:

• Technical Proposals
• Solution Documents
• Statements of Work (SOW)
• Scope of Work Documents
• Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
• Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
• Software Requirement Specifications (SRS)
• RFP Responses
• RFQ Responses
• Tender Documentation
• Technical Presentations
• Project Estimates
• Project Timelines
• Assumption Registers
• Risk Assessments
• Change Request Documentation
• Meeting Minutes
• Discovery Notes
• User Stories (where applicable)

Ensure all documentation is accurate, structured, professional, and client-ready.

Sales Support

• Support the sales team during technical discussions.
• Participate in solution presentations and proposal walkthroughs.
• Help prepare effort estimates with engineering teams.
• Assist in defining project scope before commercial discussions.
• Support bid submissions and enterprise procurement documentation.
• Contribute to proposal strategies for enterprise and government opportunities.

Engineering Collaboration

• Translate client requirements into actionable technical deliverables.
• Conduct detailed handover sessions with development teams.
• Clarify functional requirements during project execution.
• Help manage requirement changes and scope updates.
• Ensure alignment between client expectations and engineering delivery.
• Act as the primary functional point of contact throughout implementation.

Continuous Improvement

• Develop reusable proposal templates and solution frameworks.
• Maintain a repository of standard documentation and best practices.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, AI trends, Microsoft technologies, cloud platforms, and automation tools.
• Contribute to improving LeadSource Techs consulting methodology.

Strong understanding of one or more of the following:

Qualifications

Preferred:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in software consulting, solution consulting, technology consulting, solution architecture, or technical business analysis.
• Experience working with enterprise clients is preferred.

Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
