Role Description The Insurance Financial Advisor role at LIC is a full-time, on-site position based in Rajpura. The advisor will meet with individuals and families to understand their financial goals, assess their protection needs, and recommend suitable life insurance and investment products. Daily responsibilities include explaining policy features, preparing customized financial and retirement plans, maintaining client relationships, and providing ongoing policy service and support. The role also involves prospecting new clients, participating in local outreach or informational sessions, and staying updated on LIC products, regulatory guidelines, and market trends. The advisor is expected to collaborate with LIC teams to ensure a smooth client experience, accurate documentation, and adherence to compliance standards.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Financial Planning and Retirement Planning skills to design comprehensive, long-term strategies for clients.
• Candidates should possess solid Finance and Investments knowledge to explain returns, risk, and portfolio suitability in simple, clear terms.
• Candidates should possess practical Insurance expertise to match client needs with appropriate life insurance solutions and riders.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and client service orientation to build trust and maintain long-term relationships.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet performance and compliance targets.
• Comfort with basic numerical analysis, documentation, and use of digital tools for policy management.
• Previous experience in financial services, banking, insurance, or advisory roles is an advantage.
• Bachelors degree in finance, commerce, business, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience may be considered.
